This beautiful section of reclaimed oak beam was salvaged from a barn conversion in Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District.
Once part of a much larger beam, it naturally sheared in two over the course of its long life, leaving behind the striking mountain-like peak that inspired its name. Weathered by centuries of service, every twist, crack and contour tells the story of the generations it has quietly supported.
The beam stands upon a heavily weathered oak base, itself reclaimed from historic canal gate planking, bringing together two remarkable pieces of Britain's industrial and agricultural heritage.
Perched at the very summit, a small monkey has completed its climb and now clings to the pinnacle, gazing out over the village below while holding a warm filament beacon. The gentle glow contrasts beautifully with the rugged oak, celebrating both the enduring strength of reclaimed timber and the quiet beauty that time leaves behind.
A true one-of-a-kind piece, The Pinnacle transforms centuries of history into functional art.

Height 102cm x Width 34cm x Depth 30cm, Weight 10.8kg.
